VOC / NJROTC Orienteering Training Camp XI
Our annual NJROTC orienteering training camp was held at Camp McDowell (between Jasper and Double Springs, AL). It is a beautiful place to orienteer with some nice fields, and great canyons adjacent to the Bankhead National Forest and just south of the Sipsey Wilderness Area.
This was our 11th year for the camp and the 6th year at Camp McDowell. A total of 172 cadets competed on all the courses.
